The latest villain to be revealed for Batman: Arkham City (PC, PS3, XBox360,) is Revealed. And the revelation is none other than Hugo Strange. Revealed at VGA 2010, the trailer below shows Hugo torturing one of his hired hit men squad who survived an encounter with Batman. The trailer ends with Hugo revealing his pans for Bruce Wayne.

A Character new to upcoming Dragon Age 2 unveiled

'Soldier Aveline Vallen' is the latest key character to be unveiled for Dragon Age 2(Xbox 360, PC, Playstation3).

A posting on the game's official site divulged a few details of the new cast member.

Excerpt from the post:

Aveline Vallen is a soldier, a master of sword and shield, and a tireless guardian... to a point. The daughter of an exiled chevalier, Aveline is not the knight her father wished her to be. Although fully trained in chivalrous combat, she was raised in the shadow of a lost life and will not lose another for the sake of honor. Protecting her adopted home of Kirkwall becomes a chosen duty, not a privileged calling. The people she stands for will not be wasted on lost causes or protecting the foolish from themselves. Tony Hawk: Shred, Skateboard game Coming October 26

Activision have announced that Tony Hawk: Shred will be released on October 26 in North America and October 29 in Europe. There’s also a new website too. The game is set for release on Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3.

Supposedly aimed at younger gamers, Tony Hawk: Shred features not only skateboards but also snow boards.

EA MySims SkyHeroes Launched

Back in May, EA announced a new flying action adventure title to further expand its MySims franchise. The company has now released MySims SkyHeroes in HD for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Nintendo DS on September 28.

The title has been designed to offer both cooperative gameplay missions and online multiplayer action.

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition: confirms EA

Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that it will be publishing an Ultimate Edition box of Dragon Age: Origins, the role playing game created by BioWare, containing the initial game in the series, the Awakening expansion pack and all the downloadable content packs that have been delivered to the title.

The bundle will cost 59.99 dollars on the Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation 3; and 49.99 dollars on the PC platform, meaning that gamers who pick it up will probably save about 50 dollars over the overall price of the content at current price.

Players will be able to pick up the new package on October 12.

EA removes Taliban Name from 'Medal of Honor' Multiplayer

Electronic Arts has removed the name "Taliban" from the multiplayer version of its upcoming "Medal of Honor" game.Instead of Taliban, "Opposition Forces".

In recent times, the critics have questioned naming one of the two fighting entities in war game set in Afghanistan as Taliban.

The new "Medal of Honor" game is scheduled to be released on Oct. 12 in North America for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The new version will be the first time that the series has been set in modern-day Afghanistan; it previously has been limited to scenarios during World War II.

EA : Sony PS3 Can Beat Xbox 360

According to Video game publisher Electronic Arts (EA),

Sony's PlayStation 3 gaming console has the potential to beat rival Microsoft's Xbox 360 in the UK gaming market.Emphasising that despite a slow start in the global market, the PS3 gaming console is catching up with its rivals in terms of sales and popularity and may soon conquer the UK video game market.

In the UK Sony PS3 is still head-to-head with Xbox, but on the continent Sony is traditionally stronger than Microsoft, according to EA.

EA will soon release games compatible with Sony Move and Microsoft's Kinect.

Activision confirms Blood Drive release plans

Activision has confirmed plans to release Blood Drive for PS3 and Xbox 360.

This ends to the speculation that began earlier this month. Now it's official.

Blood Drive is set in a post-apocalyptic gladiator arena populated by zombies and armoured battle vehicles.

There are six environments and several drop-in, drop-out multiplayer modes for up to four players.

No word is received on the official release date, but this story, quoting BBFC, says it would be out on 19th November.

Microsoft has announced a new special edition of the XBox 360 Wireless controller with a transformable D-Pad. This transformable D-Pad can be transformed from a plus-design to a disc to suit a user’s gaming requirements. Notably, the new design is targeted at users who love fighting games that require a lot more accuracy and precision for directional as well as sweeping movements.

Microsoft has an Xbox Live schedule for Kinect (Kinect for Xbox 360, or simply Kinect is a "controller-free gaming and entertainment experience" by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game platform.).


According to Creative director Kudo Tsunoda, the company has plans to roll out Kinect support across Xbox Live Arcade and Indie Games, and should announce them close to the device's launch in November.

Tsunoda added that that the rollout would be similar to the way that Avatars were launched across the Xbox Live platform.

Microsoft has today launched a Halo: Reach experience site, inviting fans to help create a monument of light to celebrate the release of the new game.

With just three weeks to go until launch(September 14, 2010) of the highly anticipated Xbox 360 title, Microsoft is asking XBox 360 fans to the RememberReach site and help it create the buzz and access new content.

The world premiere of the live-action short, entitled Deliver Hope, will debut this Thursday on Halo.Xbox.com, Halo Waypoint.
