Back to the Future game to be launched in December

Telltale Games has started taking pre-orders for the upcoming Back to the Future game.

The game based on a near $1billion grossing film trilogy (that’s celebrating its 25th anniversary), will be available on the PC, Mac, Sony PlayStation 3 as well as Apple’s iPad tablet device.

Price: PC and Mac versions of the game will have a $24.95 price tag along with PS3 and iPad pricing. Confirmation on UK Prices is still to arrive yet.

5TH Cell Unveils its First Xbox Live Arcade Game -- Hybrid

5TH Cell, the makers of Scribblenauts, has unveiled their first Xbox Live Arcade game. The new game is Hybrid.

Hybrid is a futuristic shooter. Players choose one of two warring factions: the Paladins and Variants.

Hybrid is slated for a 2011 release through XBox Live Arcade.

FishLabs releases Galaxy On Fire 2

German developer FishLabs has released Galaxy on Fire 2, a sequel to the original Galaxy on Fire iPhone game. The game is now on sale at the App Store for $7. At this price FishLabs promises a free update to the iPad version expected within this year.

Square Enix allows you lend voice to upcoming RPG characters

Courtesy ,an information posted on the Square Enix Facebook page, earlier today, it appears that in an upcoming RPG for the iPhone, you will be able to lend your voice to characters. The only details provided with the screenshot are as follows:

Zynga to launch FarmVille on Apple iPad

Zynga is debuting its popular social game on Apple iPad.

FarmVille will feature special graphics tailored to the iPad with controls similar to the iPhone version of the game. Players swipe their fingers or tap the touchscreen to check out their farms, harvest crops or perform other tasks. The game sports cross-platform functionality, so players tending to farms on the Web can continue to do so through the iPhone or iPad.

FarmVille is already available on the iPhone.

Nintendo to release a Red DSi XL bundle on November 7

Nintendo is going to release a DSi XL bundle featuring a red handheld and a copy of Mario Kart DS. The occasion is the 25th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

Nintendo unveils limited edition red Wii bundles

Nintendo has announced that it will release a limited edition Wii bundle on November 7. The limited edition will feature a version of the console in bright red as well as copies of Wii Sports and New Super Mario Bros.

Activision launches Rapala Pro Bass Fishing for iOS

Priced at $4.99, the new fishing game for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch features a focus on pro competition. Players can compete in 25 virtual tournaments to catch 20 different trophy fish. The game also features a casual free-play for fun and practice.

Back in May, EA announced a new flying action adventure title to further expand its MySims franchise. The company has now released MySims SkyHeroes in HD for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Nintendo DS on September 28.

The title has been designed to offer both cooperative gameplay missions and online multiplayer action.

Money Cost of EA NBA Elite 11's one week delay

EA Sport has moved the launch date of its NBA Elite 11 (PS3, XBox360, Wii)higher. Earlier it was to be launched on October 5.The game was originally to come packaged with a digital copy of NBA Jam, but that game will now be sold separately this holiday(October 5).

This has made analysts speculate "How much the delay will cost to EA ?"

In a note to investors, Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter said the delay could cost publisher Electronic Arts as much as $60 million. Pachter lowered his holiday quarter revenue projections for the publisher from $1.52 billion to $1.46 billion, reflecting the loss of 1.1 million sales of NBA Elite 11. Rival NBA 2K11(PS3, XBox360, Wii) will capture most of the 1.1 million sales he had previously expected from EA Sports' new hoops sim franchise this year.

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition: confirms EA

Dragon Age: OriginsPublisher Electronic Arts has announced that it will be publishing an Ultimate Edition box of Dragon Age: Origins, the role playing game created by BioWare, containing the initial game in the series, the Awakening expansion pack and all the downloadable content packs that have been delivered to the title.

The bundle will cost 59.99 dollars on the Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation 3; and 49.99 dollars on the PC platform, meaning that gamers who pick it up will probably save about 50 dollars over the overall price of the content at current price.

Players will be able to pick up the new package on October 12.

EA removes Taliban Name from 'Medal of Honor' Multiplayer

Electronic Arts has removed the name "Taliban" from the multiplayer version of its upcoming "Medal of Honor" game.Instead of Taliban, "Opposition Forces".

In recent times, the critics have questioned naming one of the two fighting entities in war game set in Afghanistan as Taliban.

The new "Medal of Honor" game is scheduled to be released on Oct. 12 in North America for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The new version will be the first time that the series has been set in modern-day Afghanistan; it previously has been limited to scenarios during World War II.
